Bellevue Health and Rehabilitation Center - Bellevue Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 200 bed Long Term Care Nursing and Rehab facility located near the shores of Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City’s Northwest area. Bellevue has been a great and generous friend to the neighborhood over the years.
Friends of Lake Hefner - An organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of one of Oklahoma City’s finest family recreation areas, Lake Hefner and its Trails and Greenbelt that surrounds it . It is comprised of local organizations and individuals who utilize the wonderful resource that is Lake Hefner.
Audubon Society of Central Oklahoma -An organization set out to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife and their habitats. They are on their third year of enhancing the habitat along the Lake Hefner on about 8.5 acres. They’ve planted native trees and placed native Oklahoma boulders there. The project is located along the Lake Road East of Stars and Stripes Park.
